Helena Bonham Carter and her director boyfriend Tim Burton have welcomed a baby girl.

The actress’ publicist confirmed that the baby was born in London late Saturday, and both mother and daughter are doing well. 

"They are absolutely delighted they have a daughter," the actress's rep, Karon Maskill, told People.com "It's a lovely Christmas present for the family."

Earlier this month the 41-year-old – who already has a son with Burton – discussed her deep desire to meet her baby.

"I just can't wait," she said. "It's hard to imagine we can make anything other than Billy."
