Shia LaBeouf has had misdemeanor charges brought against him dropped in a Chicago court today.

The Transformers actor was arrested last month after he was asked to leave a Walgreen’s store in the city because he appeared drunk.

When he refused, Shia was detained by a security guard and the cops were called.
 
TMZ confirms that the actor was given an early Christmas present today when he was told that Walgreens does not want to pursue charges against him.

Shia's attorney tells the site that the actor is "happy to put this behind him and get back to work"
