Jessica Sierra Dropped From Tribute Gig

Disgraced former American Idol finalist Jessica Sierra has been dropped from the line-up of a tribute concert for U.S. troops following her recent arrest.

Jess is currently banged up in a Florida jail charged with disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest and violating conditions of her parole on earlier felony battery and possession charges following a drunken bar brawl.

Now TMZ is reporting that the Move America Forward organisation has scrapped her planned appearance at their A Song for Their Service gig later this month.

A statement released by the group's vice president says, "It is quite obvious that Ms. Sierra needs to devote a great deal of time to putting her life back together.

"We wish Jessica Sierra all the best in her path towards overcoming her addictions, but that path does not include participation in the 'A Song for Their Service' concert."

Sierra is also caught up in a sex tape scandal, after a major porn distributor announced plans to release a X-rated footage featuring the singer by the end of the year.
