Nick Lachey has denied reports that he married his TV presenter girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo this weekend.

On Saturday, Fox News claimed that the couple - who have been dating since April 2006 – planned to get hitched in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas.

However, Lachey says there is no truth to the story.

A rep for Jessica Simpson’s ex tells celebrity blogger Perez Hilton: "(The reports are) not true. Fox made it up."
