Desperate times call for desperate measures, well at least when it comes to Amy Winehouse’s mother.
Janice Winehouse has penned an open letter to her troubled daughter which begs her to battle her 'drug demons' and 'come home'.
"This letter is my way of making sure that you know that all you have to do is come to us, Amy, and we'll do everything in our power to get you well again," writes Janis Winehouse via British newspaper News of the World "After all, you are still my baby and you always will be."
The Rehab singer – who has cancelled all upcoming touring commitments because of jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil – has been photographed indulging in a bizarre array of nocturnal activities which include being photographed wandering the streets of London only in her jeans and bra.
"We want to help you, but we know that unless you want to be helped – unless you come to us – anything we tried would be in vain” the letter continues “Remember you're just an ordinary human being, no stronger than any of the rest of us,"
Janice, who has reportedly spoken to the 24-year-old but felt compelled to pen an open letter, concludes by begging her to come home.
"Pick up that phone and tell me what's troubling you…Remember you're no stronger than any of the rest of us."
"Wherever you are, whatever you need," concludes the letter "we're here for you day and night. I hope you know that."
