Pete Doherty Attacked By Drug Dealer

Pete Doherty was attacked by a drug dealer in his local pub.

Drinkers at the Sun Inn, Marlborough, Wiltshire, watched as a stocky 6ft 2in thug shouted "You should get your gear from me" before delivering a punch to the junkie rocker’s face which left him on the ground.

One regular told the Mirror: "It was horrible. Pete was really shaken up and upset."

Pete’s record label Parlophone Records confirmed he was punched on Sunday by a stranger but denies drugs were involved.

Police say they are investigating the incident.
