Will Smith has dubbed his daughter Willow “the new Paris Hilton.”

Will made the unfortunate comparison as he spoke about her role in his new movie I Am Legend.

Will said: "Willow has a drive. She has an energy and she just connects to human emotion. I think a big part was probably seeing Jaden after The Pursuit of Happyness. She saw what Jaden (Willow’s older brother) did, and she was like, 'I want that.'

"Jaden is Johnny Depp. He just wants to do good work. He loves acting, he just wants to make good movies.

"And Willow is Paris Hilton. Willow wants to be on TV."

The 39-year-old actor - who also has a 15-year-old son Trey from his first marriage to actress Sheree Zampino - insists he and wife Jada Pinkett Smith make sure their children don't get special treatment and have to audition for movie roles.

He revealed that when Willow won the part of his daughter Marley in I Am Legend, she turned to Jaden and stuck her tongue out at him.
