I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here has been hit by a fix scandal after thousands of votes for runner-up Janice Dickinson allegedly failed to register.

Christopher Biggins was crowned King (Queen?) Of The Jungle in Friday night’s live final of the TV show – however Janice fans claim that they were unable to vote for their favourite because her number was permanently engaged.

One fan told the Daily Star: “My family wanted Janice to win and were voting all week.

“But on Friday the votes kept being rejected. Sometimes it’d be engaged, other times the line would go dead.

“Talking to friends, they had the same result. A couple said they called in for Biggins to test that line – and got through first time.”

Show insiders also tell the tabloid that, despite being the bookies favourite, panto veteran Biggins was in fact trailing Janice in the voting in the run-up to the final.

ITV chiefs deny the fix claims, insisting the voting was fair.

A spokesperson sad: “The phone lines were monitored to ensure fair and transparent operations. Biggins won fair and square.”
