Brit To In Touch: 'You've Been Text-Punk'd'

In Touch magazine are bringing out the big guns to prove that Britney Spears is indeed pregnant with her third child, or that’s what they were led to believe.

The publication ran a report on Wednesday claiming that the Toxic singer is pregnant with the offspring of producer J.R Rotem, a claim he strenuously denies.

“There is absolutely no truth to this,” Rotem said in a statement released to Us magazine.

But In Touch have since released a series of text messages accompanied by a statement that proves J.R confirmed Brit's pregnancy.

The statement reads: "In Touch Weekly has documented proof that JR Rotem confirmed to In Touch on Monday, November 26, 2007 that Britney Spears was pregnant and that he was the father” 

It continues: "Before he denies this information, he should acknowledge that he confirmed the story to In Touch through text (see texts here) message."

In Touch: They are saying Britney's pregnant and you're the father... 

J.R: It's true

In Touch: OK, awesome. Do u think Britney will keep it? She's already talking about it to people

J.R: No clue on what she will do. She is unpredictable.

Yet despite the text messages, Spears producer friend, Sam Lufti insists that the publications report holds no validity.

"BS” Lufti said in a text message to Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show “Don't know who made it up. J.R. doesn't even know what's up. It's fake. Completely fake."
