Jess Regrets Nick Split

It looks like Jessica Simpson’s divorce from Nick Lachey has come back to bite her in the butt, with new reports claiming the singer/actress regrets her split with the former boy bander. 

Us magazine report that the 27-year-old, who announced her split from Nick on November 23, 2005, is still feeling heartbroken and “regrets” her decision to end their highly publicized marriage. 

“There are definitely parts of her that regret breaking up with Nick now," a source told the publication.

Despite being linked to a string of men including John Mayer, Adam Levine, Orlando Bloom and most recently Owen Wilson, Simpson, who is now dating Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, still yearns for Nick. 

A Simpson family friend told the magazine that the Dukes of Hazzards star spent October 26, which would have marked her fifth anniversary with Lachey “looking through old photo albums that she made when she was with Nick...she said she was just being 'girlie,' but she was definitely somber." 

But it looks as though Jess’ pining has come too little too late with other reports claiming that Nick and his girlfriend of 18 months, Vanessa Minnillo, may be planning a more definite future together.

Simpson recently talked relationships during an appearance on The View, saying "I want a man. Somebody who's a really great family guy...Gosh, just somebody who's strong enough to be my man."
