Kelly Brook has vowed to continue on Strictly Come dancing as a tribute to her dad Kenneth Parsons who passed away from lung cancer earlier this week.
Having gained measly scores last week for her dance routine which resulted in her ending up in the dramatic dance-off, Kelly did not mention to the public that she was unable to rehearse fully because of 57-year-old Kenneth’s worsening condition.
Her publicist said: “Kelly will continue her work commitments to the best of her ability as her father Kenneth Parsons would have wanted.”
One family friend told the Daily Mirror: “She is devastated. Her family are very close-knit and she was extremely close to her dad.
"Ken was an incredibly brave man" the insider continued "He was adamant that Kelly continue in Strictly Come Dancing because he knew how much she enjoyed doing it.”
Kelly has been paired up with professional dance partner Brendan Cole, who will not doubt take on the judges if they have cruel words to say about the curvy one.
