Lawyer’s of the Graziano family, whose son John was left brain dead at the hands of speed demon Nick Hogan, have claimed that the divorce between Hulk Hogan and wife Linda Bollea is merely a ruse.

Kimberly Kohn, the attorney representing Ed Graziano, doubts whether the high publicity divorce is genuine - alleging they are splitting to save their assets.

The Graziano’s want the Hogan family to pay for John’s medical care for life. However, if Hulk and Linda did split, it would prove more difficult to get the money for them separately.

Meanwhile Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, has released a statement addressing the shock split.

“Please respect my family’s privacy at this time with all that we have been through" reads the statement "I care for my wife and my children are my world and I just hope this all works out.”
