Jungle love cheat Mark Bannerman’s shocked girlfriend has revealed that she has dumped the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star during a two hour phone call.

Sarah Matrayers also revealed in an interview with the Sunday Mirror that she was left “bruised and battered” after a drunk-fulled row with the former Eastenders actor.

Talking of the ordeal she said “I was very, very scared. I remember thinking, ‘he’s a bloke, he shouldn’t be doing this to me.’ I had brusies where he slapped me and bruises and scuffs on my body.

“I put my arm through the window in pure desperation. I was all I could think of doing. Yes I’ve got a scar on my arm from it, but it worked. It stopped.”

A teary Matrayers continued “There was a bruise on my back and I had 10 stitches in my arm so it was pretty nasty.”

The former Footballers Wives: Extra Time actress decided to speak out about the assault after being humiliated by Bannerman during his appearance on I’m A Celebrity… when her 34 year old former lover spent his 11 days in the jungle flirting with Welsh songstress Cerys Matthews.

During an emotional two hour phone call she told him that their relationship was over after he was the first contestant to get voted off the show. She said “I was shouting at him, ‘Are you in love with Cerys or not? Yes or no, yes or no?’ He just said ‘I don’t know’ and ‘Sorry’ over and over again.

“I told him it was over. I said if he can’t make a decision, then I’ll make it for him. That’s it.”

As Marc flew into Heathrow yesterday he said to waiting reporters “I just want to see my mum.” Aw.
