Christina Applegate Bares All

Christina Applegate is getting her kit off for a new campaign urging people not to buy fur as presents for Christmas.

The sexy shots for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (peta) advert shows the vegetarian actress wearing nothing but a pair of festive gloves, a necklace and a smile.

Her campaign slogan reads, "Cross cruelty off your shopping list by avoiding fur coats, collars and cuffs - unless it's fake of course."

Speaking to those thinking of buying fur for a loved one, the Sweetest Thing tells PETA: “They make really great synthetic fur—you really don’t need real fur. And it’s cheaper, so why spend the money?

“The holidays are also a time when people freak out about their finances. If you don’t want to spend the money, why not try some of the other options instead of killing a bunch of animals?”

See Christina in the new Fur: Get Me Not campaign below and be sure to tell us what you think, by posting your comments below!

  • I can't believe anyone is still wearing fur, after repeatedly being made aware of the ethical problems associated with it. Everyone from Martha Stewart to Paul McCartney has denounced this fur, including many of the largest clothing retailers. Anyone considering fur has a moral obligation to seek out information about the "production" process. Swiss Animal Protection released their findings (short video) from Fun Fur? A Report on the Chinese Fur Industry here. http://tinyurl
