Amy Winehouse's Mum Urges Singer To Scrap Tour

Amy Winehouse’s mother has urged her to pull out of her U.K. tour - or risk "destroying" herself.

The Rehab singer’s disastrous performance on the opening night of her tour - during which she appeared out-of-it and stumbled about the stage - provoked boos from the crowd and a mass walk-out.

Mum Janis has said that Amy should scrap the dates altogether as she is too "stressed out" after her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, was jailed on charges of perverting the course of justice earlier this month
 
She says: "My heart goes out to her. She is under immense stress over Blake's imprisonment.

“I wouldn't hesitate to tell her to pull out if I feared she was in danger. I don't want Amy destroying herself."

Despite her fears over Amy’s health, Janis remains confident that the troubled star will recover.

She said: "I think she will get by and come through what is a terribly lonely time for her right now."
