Natalie Portman Won't Marry Until Gays Can Too

Natalie Portman has revealed that she has serious reservations about marriage because homosexuals are still unable to wed in much of the US.

The Hollywood actress is dating fashion designer Nathan Bogle but says that until gay marriages are legalised she won’t be going ahead with her own nuptials.

She told In Style: "I'm not convinced about marriage. Divorce is so easy, and that fact that gay people are not allowed to marry takes much of the meaning out of it.

"Committing yourself to one person is sacred."

Gay unions are currently only legal in Massachusetts and Wisconsin.
