Stern: 'I'm Hundreds And Thousands Of Dollars In Debt'

Those who think Howard Stern is making money from the death of Anna Nicole Smith can think again – He is broke.

Speaking to US Weekly, he says he is tired of the personal perception that he is a rich man raking it in from the late model’s tragic passing.

The lawyer says: "I am basically broke. There's this impression that I am somehow making money off Anna's death. It couldn't be further from the truth."

He also admits that he massively in debt, owing his parents “hundreds and thousands of dollars.”

Stern has filed a $60 million libel suit against author Rita Crosby for claiming in her book that Stern engaged in homosexual practices with Larry Birkhead, the father of Anna’s baby Dannielynne.

Maybe that’s where all his money has gone.
