Pete Doherty has been filmed snorting cocaine, just days after he released a statement claiming he was going to seek help for falling off the wagon following his rehab stint, it has been claimed.
After a six-week spell in Clouds rehab clinic in the UK where he battled his drug problems, Doherty emerged supposedly clean and fooled the world into thinking he had conquered his shameful addiction.
The new footage comes days after the Babyshambles singer was filmed injecting heroin after the MTV Europe Music Awards, followed by the promise he was to get help yet again.
In the video clip acquired by the Daily Mirror, Doherty allegedly chops up five lines of cocaine on a silver tray perched on top of a kitchen counter, and snorts them through a rolled up piece of paper.
A friend of the singer says: “Pete just can’t stop using. He’s been warned about how much he’s taking but he won’t stop. He says he wants to get clean but his actions tell a different story.”
