Doctor Jan Adams, the surgeon who performed a tummy tuck and breast reduction on Kanye West’s mother Donda just hours before she tragically died, has had his tainted reputation for botched up surgeries and drink driving made public.

In a lawsuit filed by Terrie Cage, she claims that six months ago, Dr. Adams and another doctor "negligently and carelessly examined, diagnosed, cared for, treated and performed surgery upon plaintiff, failing to follow the standard care ..." As a result, Cage alleges she was "rendered sick, sore, lame and disabled."

Another lawsuit filed by Bonita Hovey alleges that two years ago, Dr. Adams and other doctors botched a tummy tuck on her and "negligently failed to possess and exercise, in both diagnosis and treatment, that reasonable degree of knowledge and skill that is ordinarily possessed and exercised by other physicians and surgeons..."

Hovey cites the defendants "failed to give the plaintiff proper preoperative and postoperative follow up care..." which resulted in a "postoperative infection" that forced her to have two more surgeries.

A total of six lawsuits against Adam’s have been found, as well as a restraining order from his ex-girlfriend, which reveals his “Jekyll and Hyde” personality whenever he gets drunk.

In addition to this, the Medical Board of California have previously filed documents asking to revoke or suspend Adams’ medical license because of his multiple DUI convictions in 2006, 2003 and 1994.
