Despite claims she would be returning to South Africa following her reported split from Prince Harry - Chelsy Davy was spotted attending Leeds University in northern England on Monday looking notably distressed.

The Zimbabwean heiress looked puffy eyed as she walked to college with two of her friends, who appeared sympathetic to her situation.

The pictures show Davy laughing with friends, but close-up the stress and anguish of her split with Harry is apparent.

According to reports the 22-year-old, who dated the Prince for three years, ended their relationship amidst reports of his wild ways.

A close pal explains: "Chelsy just couldn't put up with his antics any more. She feels they've fallen out of love."

Whilst a royal insider told News of the World that their relationship had simply reached its expiry date.

"The relationship is over. It has simply run its course.

"Harry will be carrying on with his army career and Chelsy will continue with her studies."
