Britney Spears is preparing to hit ack at her mum's book by writing one of her own.
Lynne, 52, shocked many by announcing she was penning a tome on good parenting, and now Britney wants to hit back with her own side of the story.
The People quotes Britney as telling a friend, "She is trying to make a quick buck. She says she's not sure if she'll go through with it - but I can't really trust her.
"I'm sure she'll make it look like she was a great mother and all my problems have nothing to do with her.
"I am tired of other people writing about me. I want to speak for myself. If it ends my career, so be it. People appreciate the truth. I'll be bigger than ever."
