LiLo Gets Ugly!

Lindsay Lohan is set to follow in Victoria Beckham's footsteps by making an appearance on the hit TV show Ugly Betty.

The Mean Girls actress is in talks with producers to play a fallen beauty queen who ends up working as an assistant manager of a fast food restaurant.

She will be rescued by the show's main character Betty Suarez, who tries to get her a job at Mode magazine, where she is an editorial assistant.

A source said: "Betty tries to help Lindsay's character by getting her a job at Mode, the fashion magazine where she works on the show."

Lindsay will not be the first celebrity to make a guest appearance on the show.

Victoria Beckham stars as herself in an upcoming episode, while Lucy Lui appeared in two shows in the first series.

Lindsay recently vowed to stay away from Hollywood to avoid temptation and stay sober.

The 21-year-old actress, who was released from Utah's Cirque Lodge treatment centre last month after a two-month stay, said: "I'm staying in Utah until it's time to shoot 'Dare to Love Me', and then

I plan on returning to Utah so I can stay focused and avoid other distractions.

"Temptation is always there, but now I'll avoid it the right way."
