Days after reports that she was dating former co-star Dax Shepard, Jessica Simpson is being linked to Owen Wilson after the pair spent Sunday evening together at a Santa Monica hotel.

Spies at the Huntley Hotel saw the couple arrive separately and chat for over an hour before leaving, according to the UK’s Daily Mirror.

Last week it was reported that Jess was being romanced by Dax who she met on the set of comedy Employee Of The Month.

 “Dax and Jessica met when they were filming together and really liked each other, but nothing ever happened,” claimed a source.

“They kept in touch, and as soon as they both became single, there’s been some serious flirting going on.”

“Dax made the first move. He just thought, ‘Why not?’ Jessica was thrilled when he asked her out.”

Dax recently split from Kate Hudson, whose own split from Owen earlier this year was blamed for his suicide attempt.
