New reports have emerged claiming that Nicole Richie taunts boyfriend Joel Madden about his previous relationship with singer-actress Hilary Duff.
According to insiders, Madden – who dated Duff for two-and-a-half-years – isn’t taking too kindly to her remarks.
"She will ask if he's going to watch Lizzie McGuire DVDs or listen to Hilary's albums," a source told US Weekly "Joel tells her she's being out of line."
Madden and Richie – who are expecting their first child together at the end of the year– are currently residing in Australia where Joel is touring with his band Good Charlotte.
The 28-year-old rocker has also hinted to the press that the pair may settle down-under to avoid the L.A. party scene.
“People keep saying to us ‘How come you keep spending so much time down there?’ and I just say that it’s the best place in the world,”
He added: “I’m going to have a look around tomorrow for a place a nice condo. It’s only one flight man. The lifestyle here is insane.”
