Hip-hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs has spoken for the first time about his alleged attack on a New York party-goer.
The rapper was involved in an altercation with Steven Acevedo at the Kiosk nightclub on 13 October.
Combs is said to have hit Acevedo twice, leaving his rival with a bloodied nose and swollen lip.
The rapper has not been arrested or charged in connection with the incident, but Acevedo's attorney, Mark Heller, says that the matter is still in the hands of the police.
But Combs tells Access Hollywood that, although the pair rowed, he did not attack Acevedo.
He says, "I got into an argument; I am a human being. I am going to get into an argument.
"I am making no denial about that, but I did not punch anybody. Sometimes you get into an argument and as a celebrity, things are a little crazy, so things get blown out of proportion. But no, I didn't punch anybody.
"I'm staying focused on being a role model and you know, being somebody that all my grandmas and aunties out there can be proud of and tell their kids to look up to you."
