Owen Wilson has given his first interview since his suicide bid in August, reports USA Today.
The newspaper claims that in the interview – which is due to be posted online at midnight on Friday as part of the MySpace Artist on Artist series - the actor talks to director and longtime friend Wes Anderson about his latest film The Darjeeling Limited.
This is Wilson’s first interview since police were summonsed to his home in what has been labelled an "attempted suicide."
The 38-year-old's publicist later released a statement requesting that press respect the actors privacy during "this difficult time."
The statement read: "I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time."
Owen made his first public appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of The Darjeeling Limited on October 5, but kindly declined any interviews and posed for only a handful of photographs.
