Chanelle: 'I'm Scared My Mum's Murderer Will Kill Me Too'

Big Brother contestant and possibly pregnant Chanelle Hayes has spoken about her fears that the man who murdered her mother will next come after her and strangle her too.

The 19-year-old was born to Andrea Sinclair, a street hooker who was addicted to crack cocaine and when Chanelle was only a few months old, was murdered by one of her clients, Keith Pollard.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Chanelle says: “It makes me sick to my stomach. I honestly feel that one day he will come looking for me and kill me, like he did my mum. The man is mental.

“He has already killed twice and I don’t think he would even bat an eyelid at ending my life. He’ll probably just add me to his list. He haunts me every single day.”

Although Pollard is in jail serving a life sentence, thoughts of him coming after Chanelle still plague her, and she relies on her new fiancée and fellow Big Brother contestant to look after her.

“I hate it when Ziggy is not in the flat with me. If he has to go away for the night for work, I will try to get one of my friends to come round and stay with me, because I can’t stand to be there alone.

“Every little noise makes me jump and I think it’s him coming to get me. I can’t be alone at night, I’m too scared.”
