Kylie Minogue has revealed that her fight against cancer has made her desperate to have children.

The 39 year old - who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 but has since made a full recovery - is set to release new material next month.

However, the pint-sized pop star may put her music career on hold to start a family.

"I love children. Always have and always will" claims Minogue "But it's only since my cancer that I have given serious thought to having them."

As for the rumours that she has been undergoing fertility treatment to boost her chances of conceiving, these are not true.

She concludes: "Contrary to some reports, I am not having all sorts of weird treatments to try and get pregnant. Instead, we will just have to wait and see what doctors say."
