Kid Rock Arrested Over Atlanta Brawl

Kid Rock has been arrested in Atlanta over a brawl outside of a waffle house, FOX 5 News is reporting.

The 36-year-old – whose real name is Bob Ritchie – was taken into custody along with five other companions and now faces a misdemeanour charge of simple battery.

According to FOX, Rock – who played a sold-out show in Atlanta Saturday night – stopped by an eatery during the early hours of Sunday morning, and an unknown male diner approached Kid’s entourage.

The report goes on to claim that a war of words were exchanged between the two parties over a female member of Rock's entourage and a brawl soon followed.

Police were later called to the scene of the incident where Rock and the members of his crew were arrested.

According to the station, Kid Rock posted US $1,000 bail and was released Sunday evening from DeKalb County jail.
