Anna Nicole Smith's former bodyguard Big Moe has suffered a mild heart attack, brought on by the stress following the death of the tragic actress/model.
The minder - real name Moe Brighthaupt - was with Smith when she died in a Florida hotel room in February.
He was the one who desperately tried to revive the star as she passed away.
Now sources claim that her tragic death and the ongoing investigation have taken their toll on Big Moe's health.
The National Enquirer reports Brighthaupt was taken to hospital on 13 October
suffering from chest pains.
He was diagnosed as having had a mild heart attack and released into a doctor's care.
His publicist, Paul Porter, tells the publication: "This past year has been a nightmare for him."
A source adds: "He's only 39, he's a strong man, a former college basketball star and a firefighter. But this ongoing saga is destroying him."
