Tara Reid Hospitalised For Alcohol Abuse?

Actress Tara Reid has rubbished reports she was hospitalised as a result of alcohol abuse earlier this month.

The American Pie star was said to have checked into the Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center in Marina Del Ray, California for a nine-day stay to undergo tests for liver damage.

According to U.S. reports, the supposedly reformed Hollywood wildchild was discharged at the weekend.

Doctors who worked to diagnose the distressed 31-year-old, allegedly discovered she had elevated liver enzymes.

Reid has denied the reports, insisting, "I'm fine."

Earlier this week, Reid criticised the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton for their hard-partying lifestyles.

She said: "I think the reason I never ended up in as much trouble as Paris or Lindsay seem to is that I'm not stupid, so I'd never do a lot of the things those girls do, and I've always had good friends around me.

"They need to straighten up a little bit and make better investments. And they should surround themselves with better people who don't let them get themselves in trouble.”
