Despite a barrage of reports to the contrary, Mel C insists that the five reformed Spice Girls are experiencing a "love fest" as they prepare for their comeback tour.

The band split in 2001 after Geri Halliwell quit and amid rumours of rifts between remaining members - but Mel C insist there hasn't been a hint of animosity since their recent reunion.

Sporty Spice says, "At the moment, it's a bit of a love fest.

"We haven't been together for a long time and there's going to be ups-and-downs because everybody's very strong as an individual.

"We are very excited and enjoying each other's company really."
