Actress Isla Fisher has reportedly given birth to a baby girl in her native home of Australia.

Numerous publications down under report that sources close to the 31-year-old and her fiance Sacha Baron Cohen, claim the couple have welcomed their first child in the early hours of Wednesday morning (October 17) 

However a spokeswoman for the Wedding Crasher’s star, has refused to confirm the reports, claiming they knew nothing about the birth.

Both Fisher and Cohen have been engaged since 2004 but have yet to set a date for their wedding.

Fisher – who has found fame in Hollywood – told UK newspaper Daily Mail that she plans to take a break from acting to focus on her personal life.

"There is no way I am going to worry about missing out on work or the pressure to lose weight,"

"At the moment I am not even planning any work. As far as I am concerned I am fully booked up in my personal life and I can't see beyond that.

"I plan on just colouring in books. I'll focus on that for the next few years."
