Vanessa Hudgens Not Dropped By Disney

Yesterday Entertainmentwise reported on rumours that Vanessa Hudgens had been rejected from Disney’s High School Musical 3 production following her nude photograph scandal.

However both a spokesperson for Hudgens and Disney have now confirmed that the rumours are simply not true. 

“Totally untrue. It’s an old rumor” claims the 18-year-old’s spokesperson. 

Disney’s rep also echoed these sentiments, saying that “it’s not true.”

This month’s issue of OK! magazine claim that Disney dumped Hudgens because of the humiliation surrounding her nude photograph scandal.

A source claims: “Disney finally decided that they don’t want her back. They feel that as long as Zac Efron is in the movie, all will be fine. He’s the real star – the household name – and, most importantly, he comes without baggage.”

High School Musical 3 is due to hit cinemas late 2008.
