Ashlee Simpson: Botox Beauty?

A magazine is claiming that Ashlee Simpson’s image overhaul did not stop at a new nose – but also extends to regular botox injections to keep her skin taut and wrinkle free.

Ashlee, by the way, is 23.

According to In Touch, Simpson is getting botox injections once a month.

Facial plastic surgeon Dr Jennifer Levin (who does not treat Simpson) examined the evidence and seems to agree.

“When someone is smiling, certainly when they are smiling genuinely, you would expect a slight crinkle around the eyes, which I don’t see," she tells Access Hollywood.

"So I would have to expect that she has had some Botox to that area.”

The magazine claims Ashlee uses the procedure to lift the brow in order to give her a wide-eyed look.

Unsurprisingly, Dr. Levine believes this is a little excessuve for someone as young as Ashlee.

“I would argue that someone who is 23 would probably have a very natural and pleasing brow position and it wouldn’t really be necessary,” she said.

Ashlee’s spokesperson denies the botox claims, saying her wide-eyed look is all down to clever tweezering:

"Ashlee has never had Botox in her life. She credits her eyebrows to her makeup artist who is a whiz with the tweezer.”
