Earlier today Entertainmentwise reported that Michelle Rodriguez is to serve 180 days in prison. Hours after the news broke, messages have been posted of the MySpace and official website of the Lost actress.

The webmaster on the MySpace page wrote:

Yes, it's true. 180 days in county jail. That is her sentence. But all is well. She is and will be just fine. Just hours after this ruling, she's as positive as ever.

Michelle will still be leaving for New Zealand to film James Cameron's Avatar and will then report back to turn herself in to serve her sentence on Christmas Eve. Michelle is a survivor and is always growing from her experiences, and this will be no different. So just keep her in your thoughts and prayers and send your love and positivity her way and again, know that she currently is and always will be alright. Nothing will bring her down, especially not something like this.

A message on her website quite simply reads:

"Yes, it's true. But Michelle is Michelle, so no worries. Check back."

It doesn’t seem like the prospect of jail is fazing her very much.
