Pamela Anderson has denied reports that she is engaged, despite successfully applying for a marriage license in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The former Baywatch beauty made her application, which is valid for a year, with poker player Rick Salomon.

But mother-of-two Anderson - who has been married twice before, to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee and Kid Rock - claims she and Salomon applied for the wedding license just in case they decide to get married.

Anderson says, "I'm not really engaged. I don't know what I am... we may never get that far."

Salomon is best known for 'starring' alongside Paris Hilton in sex tape 1 Night In Paris.
