George Clooney Running For President?

Well Brad Pitt is urging him to do so...

Thursday 04th Oct 2007

Brad Pitt has spoken about his choice for next President of the United States – his good pal George Clooney!

Speaking to Parade magazine, the Ocean’s Thirteen actor encouraged his fellow co-star and Ben Affleck to run for political office.

He says: "I never thought about it. I have no desire at this point. Maybe I serve better by not going through that door.

"George should do it! He'd be quite good. I think Ben Affleck should run."

We think Ben Affleck would be better suited. There's no denying that man needs a career change.

  • you people are a bunch of raging lunatics. This kind of rhetoric is what is wrong with this country. You place these idoit actors who could'nt think themselves out of a box at such high levels it makes me sick. Stay out of politics and make some decent movies.

  • This is actually a published story? Not a single one of these guys has a college degree. None of them have enough executive experience needed to run a city, state, or gas station. Their views are right out of the European socialist playbook. I hope the American people's qualifications for President are not that he/she merely be famous and good looking. These guys need to stick to acting.
