Charlotte Church has admitted that she went into labour in B&Q before racing home to give birth to her daughter Ruby Megan Henson while watching Wales play a rugby match.

Speaking to OK! magazine, the former Voice of an Angel told of how she was in the car park of the hardware store with her rugby playing boyfriend Gavin Henson. “He’d accidentally locked me in the car and the alarm was going off.

“So people were coming out of B&Q hearing the alarm and looking at the car – then seeing it was Charlotte Church in there. I tried to hide but couldn’t – so I just sat there having contractions!”

Speaking about the birth, the Welsh lass said the pain was “outrageous.” We’re not sure if she means pushing Ruby out, or watching her team Wales play a World Cup rugby game against Japan.

Although nothing could stop the bond she feels towards Ruby. “I’m really shocked by how I feel. It’s just instant massive amounts of love towards her.”
