Paula Abdul Says No To Second Series Of Reality Show

American Idol judge Paula Abdul has refused to film a second series of her reality TV series Hey Paula! because - like the rest of us - she found watching the first season "disturbing".

The former singer and professional space cadet insists that she was falsely portrayed as an insecure diva on the U.S. show and she's determined never to put herself through such trauma again.

She says, "That was hard for me to watch. Disturbing.

"They'd put a camera on me when I got wind that my dog was in a coma, and they'd make it seem like it was about hair and make-up."

Paula has also revealed that she is desperate to start a family with new man, restaurateur J.T. Torregiani. 

She says, "That's the next step in my life. Definitely within the next two years. I thought by now I'd have three grown children." 

With no new show in the offing, we'll just have to savour a classic Paula moment from the first season...
