Pete Doherty’s scheduled appearance in court today (October 2nd) has been adjourned until later this month.
Doherty will now be sentenced on October 26th at West London Magistrates Court over charges relating to drug and motoring offences.
It’s reported that today’s adjournment was the result of a court decision and not following a request from Doherty or his legal team.
Doherty was arrested in Kensington in May for driving illegally and allegedly being found in possession of crack cocaine, ketamine, heroin and cannabis.
At a hearing in August, District Judge Davinder Lachlar told Doherty that he should expect to face a community order or prison.
“If he does not show his motivation, it's prison - it's as simple as that," the Judge explained.
Doherty was due to be sentenced last month (September 4th) but instead opted to undergo a voluntary session in rehab.
He has since spent 28 days at the Clouds rehab clinic in Wiltshire.
