Miley Cyrus has told of her reaction to recent internet rumours that claimed the 14-year-old was pregnant.

The story emerged when a hacker doctored an existing J-14 magazine article online to include quotes from the Hannah Montana star saying that she was going to keep her baby and apologising to fans for letting them down.

Miley has now admitted that she was devastated by the reports.

She says: "As much as I wanna say it didn't effect me, it really hurt my feelings."

The actress’s stepmother Leticia has also spoken out about the affect on Miley and the rest of the family.
 
She reveals: "She screamed and was crying. She was very upset which made me more infuriated.

"She has a purity ring and we're really strong in the belief of being pure until marriage. It was really hard for our family."

J-14 has since condemned the Internet tampering that led to the false report.
