Paris Hilton Vows To Snub David Letterman

After host grills her about jail time - watch the video here....

Monday 01st Oct 2007

Paris Hilton has reportedly vowed never to appear on The Late Show again after she faced a barrage of questions about her stint in jail from host David Letterman on Friday.

Paris was on the show to flog her new perfume Can-Can and talk about forthcoming movie Repo! The Genetic Opera but Letterman was only interested about her time in the slammer.

After some brief pleasantries, Letterman launched straight in with: "How'd you like being in jail?"

A clearly uncomfortable Paris paused for a few seconds before saying, "Not too much."

Letterman didn’t take the hint and proceeded to ask the socialite all manner of jail-related questions – most of which were met with one-word answers from a clearly uncomfortable Paris.

Finally Paris told the host, "I don't really want to talk about it anymore."

But Letterman had other ideas. "This is where you and I are different. Because this is all I want to talk about," he told her.

Finally, after more than six minutes of grilling, Paris told Letterman he was making her "sad that I came here."

Athough she managed to maintain a fixed smile throughout the excruciating interview, dlisted.com reports that Paris lost her composure after the show.

An insider said, "She burst into tears and her people told the Late Show people Paris would never do the show again!"

Watch Paris get a good grillin' below.

  • Oh, boo-frickin'-hoo. Give me a break! She should know that she is going to field those questions the rest of her life. And, by the way, I am happy if she never goes on Letterman again--good riddance!
