Kerry Katona has been struck down by a mystery illness that is baffling doctors.

The former Atomic Kitten star was taken to hospital by husband Mark Croft after she started losing blood.

A source tells The Sun: “She started bleeding for no apparent reason and was obviously very concerned.

“She has seen a specialist because she has obviously got problems but doctors aren’t exactly sure what is wrong.”

Kerry is due to return to Regency Hospital in Macclesfield, Cheshire tomorrow for blood tests.

It's been a traumatic year for the mum of three - she has been dogged by allegations of drug abuse, her husband was accused of cheating and in July her home was raided by masked men and the family held at knifepoint.
