Kanye West’s backstage meltdown at the VMAs in Las Vegas on Sunday has finally hit the internet.

West lashed out at MTV- vowing never to return to the awards ceremony after leaving empty handed.

"That's two years in a row, man” West told the Associated Press after the show “Give a black man a chance.

He added: “I'm trying hard, man, I have the...number one record, man."

West also lashed out at Britney Spears disastrous comeback performance – claiming he was better suited to open the show.

”Honestly, I really don't care. I don't give a f**k about Britney performing.

"I should have opened the MTV awards because Stronger is the number one song in the country. It just shows you that you have to do s**t to get ratings, and maybe they feel like they will get more ratings with Britney.

He added: "Britney's song isn't as good as Stronger. This is some bulls**t, and I don't really care."
