Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have been keeping a low-profile recently, but the Good Charlotte main-man had some words to say about his new arrival that is on the way, and potential marriage to pregnant partner.

Speaking on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show in Los Angeles, Madden told the DJ about his baby that will be popping out soon: "I'm excited. We are all really excited about it. Its the best thing that has ever happened to us. It's awesome."

Although they are unsure whether junior is a girl or boy: "Right now it's an it, which sounds wrong. We call it the baby. When we talk to it, it's a you."

And about future marriage propects? "Obviously, marriage is in our future. I don't know when or where or how, but right now our priority is our family and the baby. That's all we've been thinking about. We are in love and are really happy."

We can’t wait to see Nicole as a happy housewife and mother.
