Pete Doherty will be sentenced in court this morning (August 7th) after pleading guilty to possessing class A drugs at a hearing last month.
Doherty was found in possession of quantities of cannabis, crack cocaine, heroin and ketamine when he was arrested on Kensington High Street, in London on May 5th.
The Babyshambles singer avoided sentencing at his last court appearance after the District Judge Davinder Lachlar ordered him to go into rehab and not to commit any more offences before today�s hearing.
Judge Lachlar stated to Doherty however that all sentencing options would be open should Doherty fail to comply with the stipulations.
At last month's hearing, Doherty�s lawyer Sean Curran said that the singer had a "difficulty in his personal life" at the time of his May arrest.
