David Beckham is keen to play Robbie Williams� gay partner on hit TV show Desperate Housewives.
According to the show�s creator Marc Cherry, he picked out Robbie as perfect for the part over Becks� pal tom Cruise � which is probably wise seeing as the Top Gun star is a bit touchy over the whole homosexual thing.
�David and Robbie are perfect to star as the new neighbours' best friends; the gorgeous, eccentric couple flown over from Blighty.
David's keen, but though the obvious choice was to work with Tom Cruise, we wanted someone who matches him in height and well, Britishness, so Robbie is the one.
�They're both funny, game for a laugh and ridiculously macho, so it should work wonderfully. The English are pitch-perfect for sending themselves up."
That might be so, but if this happens we�ll wear a dress for a week.
