Nicole Richie is four months pregnant with boyfriend Joel Madden�s baby, according to the ABC website. 

The gaunt starlet sat down with Diane Sawyer for an interview and confirmed that the long-running rumours were indeed true.

�Yes, I am. We are. I'm almost four months" she told Sawyer.
 
Richie, who was recently sentenced to four-days imprisonment for driving under the influence of drugs, had this to say about her arrest;

"I have a responsibility and it's something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would

"Unfortunately I can't, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult."

Shortly after confirming her pregnancy on ABC � Richie sat down with OK! Magazine and discussed parenthood and why she pleaded guilty to her DUI charge.
