Heather Mills faces losing her 400,000 Slovenian hideaway after the houses original owners claim it was stolen from them by the Nazis.
Dana Stankovic, an 84-year-old widow who lives in Cornwall, has launched legal action to regain ownership of the property, claiming her father built the house in 1937.
Stankovic says the Nazi party appropriated the house during the Second World War, with the property eventually turning up in the hands of the Slovenian government, who then$ sold it to Mills.
She tells the Mail, We had to abandon the house when the Second World War broke out," explained Mrs Stankovic.
"Then it was appropriated in turn by the Nazis, the Communists and the Slovenian government.
"And now this Mills woman I had never heard of her until last week has got her hands on it. But my family are the rightful owners. We've never sold it and now we want it back."
Her son, former British Paratrooper Major Milos Stankovic MBE, adds, "We are not seeking compensation we just want our house back. We will fight this all the way."
